Cannons

This is a list of Cannon devices that are available in the game (you can add more Cannon types to the database by using the Template:Cannon).

Cannons are the primary weapons that are used to attack enemy ships and demons in the Astral.

Certain cannons are more useful in PvE, while others are primarily designed for use in PvP. Demon hunting does not require special cannons, so any cannons with decent DpS and low energy consumption will do the job. Piracy and ship battles require a much more careful selection of weaponry, and it is important to consider specialized cannons that can do more damage to specific components of the enemy ship.

Characteristics:

• Strength: durability (hitpoints) of the device
• Weight: weight of the device (affects the speed of the ship)
• Damage: base damage done by a shot
• Range: maximum distance between the ship and the target
• Charge: cooldown time between each shot
• Energy Consumption: the amount of reactor energy consumed by a shot
• Damage to Demons/Shields/Devices/Hulls: multipliers that modify the damage depending on target type
• S1 DPS / S1 EPS etc: Shot 1 damage per second, energy consumption per second etc
