This is a list of device repairing goblins that are available in the game (you can add more goblins to the category by using the Template:Repair Tools).
Goblins can be used to repair ship devices when they are damaged in Astral battles. Damage will have an impact on the performance of certain devices, or even disable them completely if their Strength gets reduced to 0%.
Goblins can be found at the bottom of the ship. To repair a device, one of the goblins has to be placed next to it, within the Goblin's Repair Radius.
Different Goblin types can be useful in different situations:
- Tinkerers are more suitable for repairing multiple devices that have low Strength. They are a good option for repairing Cannons. They have a huge Repair Radius, so they can repair all Cannons (and Artilleries) on the deck simultaneously, if they are placed in the center of the ship.
- Mechanics have medium Repair Time and Radius. This is the most efficient goblin for general repairs.
- Repairmen are suited for heavily damaged devices that have a lot of hitpoints, such as Motors.
Repair Tools can be found as loot in Tin sectors.
Characteristics:
- Weight: weight of the device (affects the speed of the ship)
- Repair Radius: Goblins can repair multiple devices if placed correctly (for example, between two damaged Cannons, or in the center of the deck)
- Repair Time: the amount of time the goblin will spend repairing the devices in range, even if they are no longer damaged
- Effectiveness: the amount of device hitpoints that are repaired every second of the Repair Time
- Recoil: the cooldown of the goblin
As an example, a Superior Goblin Mechanic I will repair a device for 10 seconds. Every second it will repair 63 points of damage (for a total of 630 points of damage, for each device within the goblin's 15-yard radius).
