Defiled Ruins is contested PvE subzone located in upper part of Gipat for players level 41 to 42 and accessible after finishing quest chain with Symbols of the Chosen One. Wormfaces are the main faction in this zone and they offer equipment to those players that help them save their shelter from attacking demons.
