- The Historians were founded by the Great Mage Zayan. He is one of the people who devised the method that we use to prevent the allods from being swallowed up by the Astral. This has long been Zayan's home, a place away from intrigue and wars. It is also a base for the Historians.
- Naturally, this is where some of us Elves ran after our troubles with the vampires. Alas, all our hopes were in vain. Immediately after our arrival, an exact copy of the Elven Galleon rammed into the shore. It tried to slice the allod into pieces with some sort of beam.
- The allod split into separate isles and the shores were stormed by demons and vampires. We thought we were doomed but the arrival of your ship has restored contact with the mainland. Now the Historians can be evacuated. Please report your arrival to the others at our main camp.

- It's good that we were able to restablish contact with the other allods. Although, personally I believe that Zayan is strong enough to repel the attack! Funny how fate twists and turns... it was only yesterday that us Historians had smooth sailing.
- I told them not to let that conniving rat Gorluxor into our institution! We were doing just fine with Zayan as our long Great Mage. But did they listen? No! They said "two heads are better than one!"and gave him a seat of honor in accordance with his status.
- Who ended up being right? Me, that's who! Gorluxor used the Historians to further his own agenda and in doing so, he ruined things for the rest of us!
