Ship Wrecks that can be occasionally found in the Astral, are the remains of a destroyed Astral Ship that belongs to another player.
Wrecks can be collected by sailing the ship through them. This will create a number of Wooden Hardware pieces in the inventory of the ship's owner, which can be used to repair an Astral Ship.
Occasionally such wrecks will also generate a special chest that may contain Ship Devices or Hull Parts. The Chatbox will also display a message: "You have gained an item".
